Who will receive my data?

Your data will not be passed on to third parties. Should it be necessary to pass on your data (e.g. the IP address) for the fulfilment of certain purposes, we will inform you below about the procedure and legal basis for each individual case.

Data is not transferred to a third country.

Insofar as we use service providers for the operation of our website who process personal data on our behalf as part of order processing in accordance with Section 29 KDG, the same recipients may be recipients of your personal data. We do not use cookies or other web analysis technologies.

How is my data processed in detail?

Below we inform you about the individual processing operations, the scope and purpose of the data processing, the legal basis, the obligation to provide your data and the respective storage period. Automated decision-making in individual cases, including profiling, does not take place.

Provision of the website

When you access and use our website, we collect the personal data that your browser automatically transmits to our server. The following information is temporarily stored in a log file

  • Operating system used
  • Website from which access is made (referrer URL)
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server enquiry
  • IP address
    We only store IP addresses to the extent necessary to provide our services. Otherwise, the IP addresses are deleted or anonymised.

This data is not merged with other data sources.

Our website is not hosted by us, but by a service provider who processes the aforementioned data on our behalf in accordance with Section 29 KDG.

The processing is carried out to safeguard our overriding legitimate interest in displaying our website and ensuring security and stability on the basis of Section 6 (1) (g) KDG. The collection of data and storage in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. Insofar as further storage of the log files is required by law, the processing is carried out on the basis of Section 6 (1) (d) KDG. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide the data, but it is not technically possible to access our website without providing the data.

The aforementioned data is stored for the duration of the website display and, for technical reasons, for a maximum of 30 days.

Contact form

On our website, we offer you the opportunity to contact us using a form provided. The information collected via mandatory fields (e-mail address) is required to process the enquiry. You can also voluntarily provide additional information that you believe is necessary to process the contact enquiry.

Enquiries received via the contact form on our website are processed electronically by us in order to answer your enquiry. In this context, other persons or departments may also become aware of the content of the form that you have sent.

Your data is processed using our contact form for the purpose of communicating and processing your enquiry on the basis of your consent in accordance with Section 6 (1) (g) KDG. If your enquiry relates to an existing contractual relationship with us, the processing is carried out for the purpose of fulfilling the contract on the basis of Section 6 (1) (c) KDG. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide your data, but it is not possible to process your enquiry without providing the information in the mandatory fields. If you do not wish to provide this data, please contact us by other means.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been processed).

Login "Communal catering" - MBS5 ordering system

To make it easier for you to order meals, we provide you with the online ordering system "MBS5". The ordering system is not hosted by us, but by the service provider Matilda FoodTech Germany, which processes your data on our behalf in accordance with § 29 KDG. We have selected the service provider with great care. The data is processed exclusively within Europe. Data is not transferred to third countries.

The following user information is processed by Matilda FoodTech Germany when the ordering system (login area) is called up and technically realised:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL (the page you visited previously)
  • Host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
  • Time of the server enquiry

Matilda FoodTech cannot attribute this data to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources. The data is deleted after a statistical analysis.

Processing is carried out to safeguard our overriding legitimate interest in displaying our ordering system website and ensuring security and stability on the basis of Section 6(1)(g) KDG.

To be able to use our ordering system, you need the login data provided by us. Your login data consists of your (company) customer number and an individual password. We process this data on the basis of our existing contractual relationship for the purpose of contract fulfilment on the basis of Section 6(1)(c) KDG.

We store your order data in the MBS5 ordering system and in our internal systems to fulfil our retention obligations for 10 years in accordance with Section 6(1)(d) KDG

Your data will not be transferred to third parties unless you have expressly requested this (e.g. for payment processing via a commissioned credit institution).

Social Wall

We use our social wall to show content from our Instagram channel.

A connection to Instagram is established exclusively on the basis of your consent in accordance with § 6 para. 1 lit. g) KDG by clicking on "Activate social wall".

What rights do I have?

Within the framework of the statutory provisions, you and every person about whom personal data is collected have the following rights:

  • Information in accordance with § 17 KDG about the data stored about you in the form of meaningful information on the details of the processing as well as a copy of your data;
  • Correction in accordance with § 18 KDG of incorrect or incomplete data stored by us;
  • erasure pursuant to Section 19 KDG of the data stored by us, unless processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
  • Restriction of processing pursuant to Section 20 KDG if the accuracy of the data is contested, the processing is unlawful, we no longer need the data and you oppose its erasure because you require it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or you have objected to processing pursuant to Section 23 KDG.
  • Data portability pursuant to Section 22 KDG, insofar as you have provided us with personal data on the basis of consent pursuant to Section 6(1)(g) KDG or on the basis of a contract pursuant to Section 6(1)(c) KDG and this data has been processed by us using automated procedures. You will receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or we will transmit the data directly to another controller if this is technically feasible.
  • Objection pursuant to Section 23 KDG to the processing of your personal data, insofar as this is carried out on the basis of Section 6 (1) (f) or (g) KDG and there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct advertising. The right to object does not exist if overriding, compelling legitimate grounds for the processing can be demonstrated or the processing is carried out for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. If the right to object does not exist for individual processing operations, this is indicated there.
  • Revocation pursuant to Section 8 (6) KDG of your consent with effect for the future.
  • Complaint pursuant to Section 48 KDG to a data protection supervisory authority if you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data violates the KDG.
